By setting things up directly inside your server, you can not only create customized playlists from your music with ease, you can set up collections that everyone with server access will be able to create their own playlists from in just two clicks, offering massive library customization for all of your server members. The answer is surprisingly simple and comes about by setting things up in the main Plex web-app. Allow rating directly in player with half-star rating option and haptics. And most actions (play, pause, skip, etc) have a noticable and annoying latency. Since PS4 1.70 update, some video format compatibility got broken on the PS4. Sometimes songs will take many seconds to start playing (like 10 seconds). I'll have a playlist open, but then it gets replaced in the background by something else (like the song I played last time I connected to the Sonos speakers)
Randomly Plexamp's state will jump around. Volume control on phone (Android) doesn't affect speakers. But even though Plexamp shows the rest of the album is "up next," play stops after and won't go to second song, even if I click skip to next song. I play an album and the first song starts. I want Plexamp! So I see Sonos speakers in Plexamp's "Players," select one, and expect to play and enjoy music through it. Sonos app can see my music library, but is very slow to navigate and awkwardly nested within it's Sonos-centric, complicated app. What I've done: I authorized Sonos to play off my Plex.and Plexamp to play through my Sonos. Not sure if I should start a return on the speakers or tweak a few settings and be surprised by how awesome it all is? I expected a delightful, connected, and intuitive experience for my $2,000+.but this is about as broken and buggy as anything I've seen. Is this how it is or is my configuration messed up? Thanks to media suite Plex, Winamp is being resuscitated, in some form, as a new media player Plexamp. I heard I could play it through Sonos, so I bought a bunch of Sonos speakers.
